The HEASN team delivered a set of WO-750PC-R folder gluers last week in Thessaloniki, the second-largest city in Greece, located in the north. The customer confirmed the project at the Drupa exhibition in June, and the machine was delivered after the summer season.

This folder gluer is equipped with an online Braille embossing system, an Italian ERO glue spraying system, and both glue and Braille detection systems. With a maximum speed of 420 m/min, the machine can process 1-point and 3-point carton types, as well as cartons with online Braille embossing. Thanks to its quality control system, faulty boxes—such as those with leaking glue, insufficient glue, or missing Braille—can be automatically ejected from the production line, significantly improving product quality and customer satisfaction.

Although this folder gluer is a new technology for the operator, the engineers from HEASN and ERO provided detailed training and an introduction to the system. The user-friendly interface is simple and intuitive, allowing the operator to quickly become familiar with the entire process. Coupled with their extensive experience with folder gluers, the operator was able to master the machine with ease.

Based on the primary production of food cartons, this new machine will expand the factory’s product range into a completely new area: the production of pharmaceutical boxes.
